Zelda came to our class from the Livestock and Meat Commission to give us a cookery demonstration. She talked to us about the following topics: food hygiene, the great quality of our beef in Northern Ireland and how to look out for the farm quality assured mark. Zelda was making Chilli beef pasta and as she was following the recipe, she showed us how to cut an onion safely, how to crush garlic cloves, she spoke about healthy food and vegetables in particular, showing us how to grate a carrot. Finally, we all got a pot of chilli beef pasta. It was so amazing we all had seconds! We received a pencil and a recipe book so we can make it again at home.
